Lucy VS Alear (Fairy Tail VS Fire Emblem)

"The human body has limitations. The human spirit is boundless."
-Dean Karnazes

Lucy Heartfilia, The Celestial Spirit Wizard of Fairy Tail

Alear, The Divine Dragon and protector of the Emblems

When small items containing powerful spirits are the way to win a war, the only ones who should use them are those who treat them like friends rather than tools. Lucy loves all her Celestial Spirits and Alear treats the Emblems like her dear friends. But only one of them can come out on top here. Will Lucy put the Divine Dragon back to sleep or will Alear close the gate on the Celestial Mage's chances. It's time to find out who would win a DEATH BATTLE!

Before I Start

For Lucy it's pretty straightforward of what I'll be using, it'll be the Fairy Tail manga and anime adaptation, along with the sequel series 100 Year Quest. I'll also be using the events of filler arcs the anime added as the manga references them, making them canon as well as the movies.

For Alear, I'll be using Fire Emblem: Engage as her main source of content as well as the manga adaptation. And while you could argue for scaling with other Fire Emblem games based on how this game works, I won't be using them for the fact of the Emblems summoned aren't actually the original versions of the characters, something they themselves say. I also will not be using Fire Emblem Heroes since I want to focus on the main Alear and want to focus on her game specifically and what she can do in it. Also I'll be using the female version of Alear for this blog for simplicity's sake and because I like her more.

And for the sources I used the making of this blog here they are:

Lucy Heartfilia

In the kingdom of Fiore, there was a house of incredible prestige due to the successful company of Heartfilia Konzern. This was the Heartfilia family, whose daughter was one day supposed to inherit the company and take over. And her name is Lucy Heartfilia. The first few years of Lucy's life were some of the happiest of her life, she would spend a bunch of time with her mother Layla and her father Jude, even looking up to Layla and wanting to be a Celestial Spirit wizard just like her mom. But this would all change one day once Layla caught the Magic Deficiency Syndrome after performing an incredibly taxing spell using all her Celestial Spirits and some of her own power to make up for not having the last one required for it to work properly. This would leave Layla on her deathbed until she finally succumbed to her sickness and passed away, leaving Lucy the Celestial Spirits she owned, Aquarius, Taurus, and Cancer as a memento and to give Lucy a drive to become the best Celestial Wizard she could be.

But even with that heartfelt idea, it didn't work out to well as after his wife's death, Jude would only focus on expanding his company and wouldn't spend anywhere near as much time with Lucy anymore. He even told her that he didn't have time for a young Lucy on her very own birthday. This would leave Lucy with a deep resentment of her father, up until once she was old enough, she would run away from home and start to rent her own apartment. She would also go to new shops to buy new keys for Celestial Spirits and on one of these outings, she would hear that one of the Fairy Tail Guild's most popular Wizards, nicknamed Salamander was in Magnolia. And wanting to join Fairy Tail more than anything she bolted to his location, where she fell victim to a charm spell, before being broke out of by the actual Salamander, Natsu Dragneel, The Fire Dragon Slayer. And after Natsu and fake Salamander (real name Bora) had a scuffle that destroyed part of the port town Hargeon, he took Lucy to join Fairy Tail, as he was one of it's members.

After joining Fairy Tail, Lucy would get to know it's incredibly eccentric members, most notably Natsu's ice-rival Gray Fullbuster, the mom of the guild Erza Scarlet, Natsu's partner, the talking cat who can also fly named Happy, the popular model Mirajane Strauss and her little brother, the macho man Elfman. And she would even meet her best friend Levy McGarden, as well as the guild master Makarov Dreyar, who welcomed her as a new member of his family and one of his children. And while it was a lot to get use to overtime she would come to view the guild as her family. She would even get some slick new keys and spirits like Virgo and Sagitarius on some of her adventures with them. Which would come to a head when the rival guild Phantom Lord attacked the guild hall, then even hurt Levy and her partners, Jet and Droy. This would lead Makarov to declare war on them, where Lucy learns that she's actually the whole reason for this as her father hired them was to take her back home. But as a new member of the family that is Fairy Tail, the guild refused to give her up and eventually won the war with Natsu taking down their guild's dragon slayer, Gajeel Redfox and Makarov taking down their guild leader. After the events of the war, Lucy did return back to her family's estate, but only did so to confront and reprimand her father for not treating her like he should have and left, going back to her true family in Fairy Tail.

Lucy would have even more adventures, meeting new friends like the Sky Dragon Slayer Wendy Marvell. And even get new keys and spirit friends like Loke/Leo after saving his life from a punishment he didn't deserve. Aries, Gemini, Scorpio, after defeating their previous owner Angel of the Dark Guild, Oracion Seis. And Capricorn after going to Fairy Tail's sacred ground to help one of her friends in the S-Class Promotion Trial, where she had to fight against the person possessing Capricorn and freed him. Though it wasn't all sunshine and rainbows, after the members of Fairy Tail on Tenrou Island had an encounter with Acnologia, they would all face what they thought was certain death. And while Lucy and her friends did survive, when they woke up seven years had passed and Lucy's dad had passed away and as a measure of trying to make amends, paid her rent for seven years. But she would soon recover once learning of the Grand Magic Games and did her part to help out her guild to win the tournament. Then she learned of the group Tartoros' schemes to wipe out all magic on the continent and in order to help out she had to sacrifice the key of her closest friend and spirit Aquarius to summon the Celestial Spirt King. After he came down and freed her friends from the weird demon trap, she would continue to help out in the war until Fairy Tail, with help from the dragon slayer's dragon parents eventually won. Though they would lose the guild hall and even the guild itself as Makarov disbanded it. And news got even worse for Lucy once she received a letter from Natsu, detailing that he and Happy would be gone for a year to go train so he could avenge his dad and take down the Black Wizard, Zeref.

But Lucy endured the one year without her friends, and even got herself a job as a reporter for the wizard magazine, Sorcerer Weekly. Then on one day of reporting that years Grand Magic Games, she would come face to face with Natsu again after he defeated the winning teams easily and casually melting the entire arena. Lucy would tell Natsu what happened and the two of them would go on a quest to rebuild Fairy Tail, and after a few weeks were successful and got all of their core members back. But they would face their biggest conflict yet when Zeref came back and declared war on the guild to take Fairy Heart from them in order to remake the timeline without Acnologia. It was during this war that Lucy learned that the most powerful demon Zeref ever made was actually Natsu himself. And after Natsu had a fatal encounter with Zeref, the first master of Fairy Tail, Mavis Vermillion gave Lucy the book of E.N.D. so she could rewrite it in order for Natsu to survive even if Zeref died. Which Lucy was actually successful in doing, which gave her great relief when after Zeref finally died after another round with Natsu and succumbing to his curse of contradiction with Mavis, that Natsu showed back up, still being alive. But there was one last trial to overcome as Acnologia came back and trapped the Dragon Slayers in an alternate dimension while still rampaging in the normal one. So Lucy came up with her ultimate plan to use the Fairy Sphere spell to trap Acnologia on a massive ship to give him motion sickness and allow the dragon slayers to finally end him. After the success of her plan and victory in the war, Lucy would spend the next year writing a book based on her adventures, and even won an award for it. And Lucy would have a chance to write about even more adventures, as Natsu told her that he signed up their team for the 100 Year Quest.

Skill & Experience

Although Lucy lacks in power in comparison to her guildmates, she more than makes up for it with her incredible intelligence and smarts in combat. Lucy is usually the one coming up with plans to help defeat the arcs villains and in general is just very intelligent. At one point she read the book Daybreak once using speed reading magic glasses and immediately understood that the real story was in the rearranged letters of the book. One of her most notable combat intelligence feats is going toe to toe with members of the demon dark guild Tartoros, by herself and managed to actually win with pure smarts and some help from the Celestial Spirit King. And more than likely her best feat of intelligence, was being able to form a plan to utilize his weakness and trap him on their side so the dragon slayers could beat them on their side.

Equipment

Whip

Lucy's original weapon of choice was her trusty whip that she used for some time. With it she would basically be a long range melee fighter and try and keep her distance, but she also used it to wrap her enemies in it to trap them. Although her whip was a rather trusty tool, she did lose it during her adventures in Edolas but she got a more than suitable replacement in...

Fleuve d'étoiles

The replacement Lucy got for her old whip was a new more powerful whip given to her by Virgo (more on her later). Lucy was given this in order to be able to fight without having to constantly drain her magic by summoning her spirits. This whip is normally a handle, but Lucy can extend it's length significantly as it's powered by the River of Stars of the Celestial Spirit World. The whip itself is even made of that water but Lucy can make it solid like a normal whip to hit her opponents, swing it around and even use it like a rope to grab onto things. Lucy can also summon the whip to her, kinda like Thor with his hammer, or more accurately, Percy Jackson with Riptide.

Celestial Spirit Gate Keys

The most extensive part of Lucy's arsenal is obviously the very tools she uses to summon her Celestial Spirits. Lucy has a wide array of these, and their split up into two different types of Gate Keys. There's the mass produced Silver Keys who aren't really combat oriented, based on the minor constellations. As well as the one of a kind Golden Keys, based on all of the zodiac constellations. And these spirits are substantially more powerful. Lucy has a mix of both a good chunk of Silver Keys, as well as 10 of the 12 zodiacs. These are...

Gold Keys:
  • Gate of the Water Bearer: Lucy's first key, it allows her to summon the mermaid spirit Aquarius as long as a body of water is present
  • Gate of the Golden Bull: This key allows Lucy to summon the cow spirit Taurus
  • Gate of the Giant Crab: Allows Lucy to summon the spirit Cancer
  • Gate of the Maiden: The maid spirit Virgo is summoned with this key
  • Gate of the Archer: The archer Sagittarius is summoned using this key
  • Gate of the Lion: Allows Lucy to call on the spirit Leo, whom she calls Loke due to their previous friendship
  • Gate of the Ram: This key allows the user to summon the sheep spirit Aries
  • Gate of the Twins: Allows the user to summon Gemi and Mini, otherwise known as the twin spirits Gemini
  • Gate of the Scorpion: Lucy uses this key to call on the spirit Scorpio
  • Gate of the Goat: Lucy uses this key to call on the spirit Capricorn
Silver Keys:
  • Gate of the Southern Cross: Allows Lucy to summon the Southern Cross, Crux
  • Gate of the Clock: Lucy uses this key to summon the clock spirit, Horolugium
  • Gate of the Lyre: Lucy uses this key to summon the spirit, Lyra
  • Gate of the Canis Minor: Allows Lucy to summon the spirit Nikora, who she nicknamed Plue
  • Gate of the Compass: Allows Lucy to summon the compass spirit, Pyxis

Key of The Water Dragon God

This is the most recent addition to Lucy's arsenal, and not actually a Celestial Spirit Gate Key. After a confrontation with the Water Dragon God Mercphobia, where Lucy came out on top, he revealed to her that she wasn't just a Celestial Spirit Wizard, but a summoner. He then gave her his key, which allows her to call on him as long as there's a body of water.

Abilities

Celestial Spirit Magic

The type of magic Lucy wields is her Celestial Spirit Magic. This is a type of magic that allows her to summon spirits from the Celestial Realm using the keys of their gates. This is a type of Holder magic in which the user channels magic through an item to use it, as well as a form of Spatial magic as she summons the spirits from the Celestial Spirit Realm to Earthland with a type of portal. Lucy is also normally required to form a contract with her Spirits to find out what days their available to be summoned but after forming such an intimate bond with them, they'll even allow themselves to be summoned basically whenever. Lucy is also capable of summoning the Celestial Spirit King by sacrificing one of her Golden Keys that she has a particularly strong bond with. And recently it's been revealed by the Water Dragon God, that Celestial Spirit Magic is basically just a niche of true Summoning magic, and as such she's capable of summoning beings that aren't just Celestial Spirits.
And although Lucy's magic is mainly only used by using her keys and summons, she does have her own unique Spells as a Celestial Wizard.

Urano Metria

Urano Metria is one of Lucy's two ultimate spells, and one she's capable of performing without help from her spirits or other people. It's a form of super/hyper magic that bestows the power of the 88 constellations on Lucy after saying a really long incantation. Those constellations then take the form of spheres and then rain down on Lucy's target and cause devastating damage. And while she did have to get help from another wizard in order to cast it the first time, she's remembered how to perform the spell and has used it by herself multiple times after that. There is a drawback though, as using this spell practically depletes her magic reserves. But Lucy can get around this with the help of her spirits, mainly Gemini (more on them later).

Gottfried

The other of Lucy's two ultimate spells and another form of super/hyper magic that Lucy can use is Gottfried. In order to use it Lucy normally has to team up with two other Celestial Wizards, while all of them kneel and another one performs the incantation. This then causes a massive aura to envelop the casters, and then shoot upwards and then become a beam of pure power that causes devastating damage to the target. This spell was so powerful that it shattered the Celestial Globe, a giant structure and possibly dimension into pieces. Although Lucy used to need partners to perform the spell, she's since learned how to cast it by herself using one of her Star Dress Mixes (more on those later).

Lucy Kick

Lucy runs up to her opponent and kicks them full force in the face. Natsu Dragneel has lost to this attack on multiple occasions. (Her strongest move fr fr).

Resistances

  • Extreme Heat: With her spending so much time with what should be her boyfriend Natsu, most fire magic doesn't affect her as much to the point where she considered Wed's flames barely even warm.
  • Soul Manipulation: Lucy resisted the attempts to remove her soul with her sheer willpower.
  • Curses: While Lucy was still affected, she was able to fight through the pain the curse of E.N.D while rewriting the book so Natsu could stay alive.

Celestial Spirits/Summons

Aquarius

The Celestial Spirit that has been with Lucy since she was just a young girl and therefore her first every spirit is the Water Bearer Aquarius. Despite being an air sign in real life, in Fairy Tail, Aquarius holds dominion over water. She can manipulate water with her urn, either shooting it out or even absorbing water into it. Although she is incredibly powerful thanks to her water powers, it's also kind of a detriment as she can only be summoned in or around bodies of water. And the less water there is around her, the less powerful she is. But she does have some cool spells she can use if there is enough water.
  • Torrent: The spell in which Aquarius absorbs nearby water into her urn and then shoots it back out into a powerful stream of water. This spell is so strong that it can launch a yacht hundreds of miles into the sea back into the shore.
  • Bubble Shot: This spell has Aquarius use her urn to shoot out powerful water bubbles to hit her opponents with and it can hit multiple times.
  • Water Pillar: Aquarius swings her urn around and creates a massive pillar of water that she then hurls at her enemy to cause massive damage.
  • Aqua Metria: While Aquarius herself has never used this on panel/screen Lucy with Aquarius' power did and Cancer even confirmed it's her own spell. With this spell Aquarius causes the earth to soften into muddy water or just gathers water and then causes it to swell before throwing the torrent at her enemy

Cancer

Another one of Lucy's earliest spirits is the crab, Cancer. Cancer's whole deal is cutting with his twin scissors, while he mainly cuts hair like a barber, his scissors are strong enough to cut through metal like butter. And he's fast enough to cut over a dozen people in about a second. So he can combine his great speed and his scissors strength to deal out incredible damage really quickly.

Taurus

Another one of Lucy's earlier spirits is Taurus, the Golden Bull ( he's not gold but hey whatever). Taurus' whole thing is his raw strength, he can easily punch through massive boulders. He can also easily cleave through the earth with his giant axe and a master axe wielder. He also has some attacks and possibly spells that he can use that are mostly unique.
  • Rampage: Taurus' signature attack, to perform the move Taurus grabs his axe, Labrys and then jumps into the air before slamming his axe down into the ground which causes a small earthquake
  • Tension Max: Taurus swings around Labrys at max power before hitting his opponent.
  • Sandstorm Axe Aldebarn: A team up attack that Taurus can use alongside Scorpio. Scorpio uses his signature sand attack to create a massive sand whirlwind around Taurus' axe which Taurus can use to deal out even more powerful attacks and even create new whirlwinds.
  • Wool Typhon: A team up attack Taurus has with Aries. Aries uses one of her most powerful wool attacks to surround Taurus in wool, then he uses his axe and spins around to create a massive typhoon of wool.

Virgo

After thwarting the plans of the Duke Everlue which resulted in his arrest Virgo nullified their contract and gave her key to Happy. And Happy then gave the key to Lucy, and since then Virgo has been a steadfast member of Lucy's family. Virgo's main thing is her earth magic, specifically she can dig holes at incredible speeds like a mole and can even make holes out of seemingly impenetrable forms of earth. Virgo is also capable of using transformation magic to appear in whatever form is most desirable for her current summoner. She has some notable attacks and spells too.
  • Diver: The form Virgo's Earth magic takes, with her being able to dig holes and functionally be a living drill to get Lucy and her friends from place to place if they can't do it any other way. She can even dig through concrete.
  • Spica Lock: Virgo channels her magic into the earth and them forms a boulder made from that earth that can trap people.
  • Spica Hole: A similar spell to Spica Lock, where Virgo grabs her opponent and throws them into the ground where she channels magic into the earth to trap them in a pit.
  • Virgo Kick: It's a normal attack where Virgo lunges at her opponent and then delivers a high powered kick.

Sagittarius

After helping out on Galuna island, the islanders gave Lucy Sagittarius' key as a reward. Sagittarius is an archer and as an archer, he specializes in high precision shots as well as speed. Sagittarius is capable of firing five arrows all at once that managed to all hit their target. And he's even capable of notching an arrow and firing it so fast he could block bullets with them. He doesn't really have any unique spells but his marksmanship more than makes up for it.

Leo AKA Loke

Originally Leo belonged to the Celestial Spirit Wizard Karen, but due to her abusing his friend Aries (more on her later) he would force himself into the Human Realm in order to get her to stop. And knowing she doesn't have the power to summon multiple spirits at once, effectively held her hostage, and three months later he figured she would have learned her lesson. But then he learned that she took on a job without the ability to use her magic like a dumbass and ended up getting killed. As a result Leo was banished from returning to the Celestial Spirit World and spent two years disguised as the human named Loke and even joined Fairy Tail.

But after coming close to death due to his time running out from his extended stay in the Human World, Lucy showed resolve to save him which even summoned the Celestial Spirit King who changed his mind and allowed Leo to live as long as he became one of Lucy's Spirits. Of the twelve Golden Zodiac spirits, Leo functions as their leader and is probably the strongest of them. While he used to utilize Ring Magic in order to keep himself alive as Loke, as one of Lucy's spirits he no longer has to worry about that and can use his true power of Regulus.
  • Regulus Impact: Loke gathers light into his fist and then rockets toward his opponent and hits them so hard that his punch turns into a shining bright lion head. Loke can also use this attack in long range form by blasting the lion head by itself.
  • Regulus Gatling Impact: An alternate version of Regulus Impact where Loke does multiple punches in rapid succession rather than the typical one
  • Lion Brilliance: Arguably Loke's strongest attack, with it he lights himself up to glow intensely bright which can be used to temporarily blind opponents like Tenshinhan's Solar Flare, but Loke can also make the move do damage and can wipe out several knight soldiers with it.

Gemini

During her fight with fellow Celestial Spirit Wizard Angel, who just so happened to be the one who killed Karen, Lucy showed actual love and support to Celestial Spirits compared to their previous owner. And after beating her Gemini was the first one to leave her and join Lucy. Gemini is actually two lil guys named Gemi and Mini whose whole deal is Transformation Magic. They can completely transform into whomever they touch, even being able to have the exact same thoughts and memories as them. Though they can only transform into someone as strong as their summoner or weaker. So they're most common transformation is Lucy herself. Lucy has used this incredibly though, getting around the magic drain powerful spells like Urano Metria do to her by summoning Gemini and having them transform into her.

Aries

Another one of Angel's former spirits that left her and joined Lucy after their fight. Aries was also the spirit Loke almost got himself killed for as he prevented Karen from abusing her. Aries specializes in Wool Magic. Basically she can generate practically endless amounts of wool that's capable of acting like a powerful cushion/shield. Her wool also has offensive capabilities, but not directly in raw power as her wool is so comfortable it can put all her opponents to sleep and incapacitate them. She has a plethora of spells she can use with her wool and might be Lucy's most versatile spirit in that regard.
  • Wool Bomb: Aries conjures up a truly absurd amount of wool in order to surround her opponent in all directions and then incapacitate them with how comfy her wool is.
  • Wool Shot: Aries shoots wool projectiles that can actually attach to her opponents and force them to sleep.
  • Wool Wall: Aries conjures up a wall of wool in order to shield herself and Lucy from incoming attacks, and can even trap opponents should they get too close.
  • Wool Cushion: Another version of Wool Wall that serves to protect Lucy from a dangerous fall as Aries makes a giant wool cushion to prevent damage.
  • 100% Fluffy - Fluffy Wool: Aries makes a giant whirlwind of wool upon her opponents that then surrounds them and is so thick that it causes them to wheeze in pain.

Scorpio

The last of the three spirits Lucy got after defeating Angel. And funnily enough, he also happens to be Aquarius' boyfriend. Scorpio specializes in dishing out Sand Magic, mainly by shooting out sand from his scorpion stinger, which is actually a cannon. He has some pretty cool sand spells up his tail.
  • Sand Buster: Scorpio's signature move, he gets down on all fours and brings his tail above him before firing a massive torrent of sand at his opponents that's so strong it can even form into sand tornadoes.
  • Sand Spear: Similarly to Sand Buster, Scorpio uses his tail to fire sand at his opponent, but this sand stream is smaller and thinner that can pierce them rather than dealing blunt damage.
  • Sand Wall: A defensive move in which Scorpio conjures up a wall of sand in order to shield himself and Lucy from attacks.

Capricorn

Capricorn is the last of the Zodiac Spirits that Lucy has access to. She was actually supposed to inherit him after the death of her mother, one of her servants named Zoldeo fell to the darkside as a result and inhabited his body for 17 years. But after a battle on Tenrou Island, Capricorn became free of Zoldeo and he joined Lucy like what was intended all those years ago. While all the other Celestial Spirits have some form of magic they use, my boy Capricorn doesn't do all that spellcasting and instead would rather beat the shit out of you. Yeah just straight hands, no spells or anything.

Crux

Crux is one of the few Silver Key Spirits that Lucy has. While he's not really useful in combat, his ability to gather knowledge is not to be underestimated. Simply by falling asleep the old man/cross thing can scan the entire Celestial Spirit World history and knows everything about it. He was able to give Lucy the knowledge that the Eclipse Gate was a door to the past where dragons were going to come out and was able to make the destined 10,000 dragons that were supposed to come out dwindle to just seven.

Horologium

Horologium is another one of Lucy's minor keys. Like Crux he has functionally no offensive capabilities, but can actually be useful in combat thanks to his insane defensive capabilities. He can open his own gate when sensing Lucy or her allies in danger and store them inside his slide glass to protect them. Horologium's durability is so insane that he can even withstand being submerged in lava without any signs of damage.

Lyra

Lyra represents the Lyre and has no actual combat capabilities, but her lyre playing and singing is so moving that it can bring someone to tears as it embodies the heart and emotions of the people listening to it.

Pyxis

Pyxis like Lyra has no combat capabilities but does have a compass on the top of his head that lets him tell the exact direction Lucy and friends need to go should they be lost for some reason.

Nikora AKA Plue

Nikora can't do anything at all, he's just a little dude who Lucy bought the key off to keep as a pet since she thinks he's cute. She also named him Plue which is actually a reference to Hiro Mashima's previous work, Rave.

Celestial Spirit King

Definitely the strongest Celestial Spirit and arguably even the strongest summon Lucy has access to is the King of the Celestial Spirits. As the king he reigns over the Celestial Spirits, but due to his immense power he lacks a key of his own. And in order to summon him a wizard is required to destroy the key of the spirit that they have the closest bond with, to which he then answers the summoners call. He's so powerful that he immediately cleaved the giant cube Plutogrim in half with a single swing from his sword. And he can channel magic directly into his blade to hit even harder.
  • Meteor Blade: The CSK grabs his sword and then swings it downward which then unleashes a truly fucking absurdly big beam of energy that carves up damn near anything in its path.
  • Galaxia Blade: CSK points his massive sword to the heavens and performs an incantation which summons a giant pillar of light from the 88 constellations, then he swings his sword. Although this move isn't a traditional attack and instead has the power to dispel evil and curses.

Mercphobia

The other candidate for the most powerful summon Lucy has access to and is even easier to access as he has a key that Lucy can use to directly summon him. Mercphobia is one of the five dragon gods being the Water Dragon God a being comparable if not stronger than even Acnologia. Though like with Aquarius, Lucy can only summon him if there close to a body of water. Being the Water Dragon, Mercphobia's breed of magic is Water Dragon Slayer magic and was so strong that even a weakened version of him was capable of lifting the whole sea into the sky. On top of that, the dude can use transformation magic too as he learned it to protect the humans from his rampaging power by making them fish sow they could live underwater.
  • Water Dragon's Roar: The signature move of a dragon/dragon slayer is their roar. In Mercphobia's case he unleashes a massive breath attack that obviously takes the form of a giant stream of water so powerful it overpowered Natsu's Fire Dragon King's Roar with ease.
  • Dragon Soul: With the Dragon Soul Technique, Mercphobia is capable of inhabiting Lucy's body to give her some of his power like a Star Dress (more on those next section). Using this in conjunction with Selene who just so happened to be his mate in the past, gave Lucy her most powerful state of being and a whole new form.

Selene (Maybe)

After a long series of events involving Selene she would eventually join the side of humanity in their battle against dragons. Although Lucy doesn't have a key to summon her like she does with her former mate (yet, she might get one soon, we'll see) Selene's powers as the Moon Dragon God allows her to open portals to other people's location. How that works, I have no idea. But anyway using that she can come to Lucy's location should she need her aid like she's done recently. She also has the power to use the Dragon Soul Technique which she did to give Lucy her new form with Mercphobia. She also possesses a bunch of spells which obviously use the power of the moon and moonlight.
  • Moon Dragon's Roar: Selene's breath attack where she unleashes a beam of moonlight esque energy from her mouth.
  • Moonlight Conflagration: Selene creates a spiral of white-ish flames that surround her opponent in order to burn them.
  • Moonlight Butterflies: Selene creates a bunch of butterflies from moonlight that she then uses to surround her opponent and then basically detonates them like explosives.
  • Moonlight Blade: Selene swipes her arm sideways and launches a bunch of crescent moon blade projectiles at her opponent. These blades are so numerous and fast that even people capable of moving at lightspeed like Suzaku can't block or dodge them.
  • Moonlight Palm: Selene extends her arm forward with an open palm and then unleashes a blast of moonlight from her palm. This move was powerful enough to create a massive pillar like explosion
  • Moonlight Shangri-La: Selene holds out her palm which she then coats with a moon-like aura that's surrounded by mini moon bubbles and then utters an incantation. After performing the incantation Selene thrusts her palm downward and unleashes multiple beams of destructive moonlight to decimate her opponent.

Star Dresses

After sacrificing Aquarius' key to summon the CSK, he bestowed some of Aquarius' power unto her so she could fight herself without using her spirits. And after training for a year Lucy was eventually able to do this herself with all of her Zodiac Spirits. In her Star Dress forms, Lucy can take on the powers of her spirits to do the fighting herself and she can even summon the spirit she's using the power of to fight side by side with them. And eventually after another year she learned about how to mix some of her Star Dresses to combine her powers and increase her own power dramatically.

Aquarius Star Dress

After sacrificing the key of her closest ally to summon the CSK, he bestowed Aquarius' power unto Lucy as both a memento and as a way for her to fight. In this form Lucy gains the power to control water just like Aquarius and she even comes with a little bonus of being able to liquify the earth into a water like state. She also gains the ability to use some of Aquarius' water spells.
  • Aqua Metria: Like Aquarius, Lucy is able to soften/liquify the earth to make a whirlpool of muddy water that she can then gather and shoot at her opponents. She can also do this with normal water too.
  • Water Barrier: Lucy can form full barriers of water in order to defend herself from attacks made from her opponents.

Leo Star Dress

Lucy's Leo Star Dress gives her the powers and abilities of Leo/Loke. Hilariously this is the one of the only Star Dress forms that takes the appearance of an actual dress. In this form she gains the powers of the light of Regulus as well as becoming practically an expert martial artist.
  • Regulus Lucy Kick: A version of her Lucy kick that's substantially more powerful since Lucy channels the power of the light of Regulus into it.

Virgo Star Dress

In this Star Dress, Lucy takes on Virgo's powers and even her maid appearance. With Virgo's power Lucy is capable of manipulating the earth with Earth Magic, and can dig holes/dive though the earth like a drill. She even gains her spells too.
  • Diver: Like Virgo, Lucy can dig around the earth at incredible speeds to either get away from her enemies, or she can use it to get the jump on them too.
  • Spica Hole: Lucy channels her magic into the earth after grabbing her opponent and throwing them down to it and opens a pit that she can trap them in.
  • Spica Lucy Punch: Lucy digs a hole like normal and then pops out from underneath her opponent to give them a mean uppercut like Naruto did to Neji.
  • Aqua Metria: Even though Lucy can't control water in this form like she can with her Aquarius form, her Earth Magic is still able to perform the spell where she can soften the earth to attack her opponent.

Taurus Star Dress

My personal favorite of Lucy's Star Dress forms (I have my reasons) is her Taurus form. In this Star Dress, Lucy gains Taurus' raw physical power and her whip even transforms into a normal one, but is somehow even stronger. Lucy can also use Taurus' gigantic Labrys axe with its incredible power. With her raw strength in this form she can easily destroy the earth underneath her. She also gains boosted strength to her normal abilities and a new move.
  • Lucy Kick: A boosted version of her Lucy kick that has the raw physicality of Taurus' strength behind it which is powerful enough to easily one shot weaker opponents.
  • Lucy Punch: Like her Lucy Kick, it's a more powerful version that can easily one shot opponents thanks to her newfound strength.
  • Earth Wave: With the strength of Taurus in her, Lucy uses her whip and slams it on the ground and causes it to rupture which is capable of damaging anyone in its path.

Sagittarius Star Dress

In this Star Dress, Lucy takes on the abilities of Sagittarius. With it Lucy gets a Celestial bow and arrow and becomes an expert markswoman. Though due to this, she obviously is better at fighting at long range in this form and can't really do much in the close range. She even has a special new ability in this form which is hilarious cuz Sagittarius doesn't have one.
  • Star Shot: Lucy loads up her bow with an arrow which then turns into multiple arrows of light that she can shoot which detonate upon hitting their target.

Aries Star Dress

With this Star Dress, Lucy dons an appearance akin to Aries and gets her power to manipulate wool. Like Aries, the wool that Lucy generates is so comfortable that it can easily incapacitate enemies by making them relax and even lull them to sleep. Lucy also gains one of Aries' spells as well.
  • Wool Shield: Lucy conjures a massive amount of wool in front of her in order to shield herself from an attack.

Gemini Star Dress

This Star Dress doesn't have much offensive capabilities but it's gimmick more than makes up for it. With the power of her Gemini Star Dress, Lucy can directly transform into someone by touching them rather than having Gemini do it. Just like Gemini, Lucy gains the ability to use that persons magic as well as having all of the thoughts they currently have. She can also have Gemini act as a shield for her by having them take a hit by creating a copy of herself at the cost of not being able to use her Star Dress for a while.

Scorpio Star Dress

With her Scorpio Form, Lucy takes on a form reminiscent of him, but with it she has a small chain tail rather than a giant metallic one. In this form Lucy gains the power to use Sand Magic as Scorpio does, but it also increases her speed immensely. Her speed in this Star Dress is impressive enough that she could briefly outspeed Brandish of the Spriggan 12.

Cancer Star Dress

With this Star Dress, Lucy gains the ability to cut real good just like her free hairstylist. Though instead of using twin scissors, Lucy using twin scissor blades making them even more dangerous. She also gains an increase in speed, being fast enough to cut multiple times within a second.

Capricorn Star Dress

My second favorite Star Dress of Lucy's (again, I have my reasons). With this Star Dress Lucy gains the abilities of the GOAT Capricorn. So yeah she kinda just becomes even more capable of beating the shit out of you. She also gains a pair of magic sunglasses that blocks any type of eye magic from being able to effect her. She also has that shit the fuck on.

Star Dress Mix: Leo X Virgo

This form was the first Star Dress Mix Lucy was able to perform after training during the year long time-skip to get stronger. This form combines Leo's Light magic with Virgo's Earth magic to become stronger than the sum of their parts. And for whatever reason while she's in this form she gets six fairy wings (it looks cool so I don't mind too much). She also gains a new ultimate move with her new mix of Star Dresses.
  • Lion Maiden: After performing a chant Lucy causes massive pillars of light to erupt from the ground which is a combination of Loke's Regulus magic and Virgo's Spica Hole. After the pillars erupt they converge into an even bigger pillar of light that then explodes and is capable of taking down powerful enemies with just one hit.

Star Dress Mix: Aquarius X Scorpio Form

The second of Lucy's mixes, this form combines the powers of the couple Aquarius and Scorpio. With that Lucy becomes able to use both Sand and Water magic and can even combine them to dish out even more powerful attacks and spells. She also actually gets Scorpios full metallic tail and some more armor on her body.
  • Aqua Storm: Lucy combines her Sand and Water magic and creates a swirl of both that's so damn strong that she can take on the Wood Dragon God Aldoron with it.

Star Dress Mix: Aquarius X Gemini Form

The most powerful of Lucy's actual Star Dresses, this form combines Aquarius' water powers with Gemini's ability to copy. In doing this Lucy is capable of making a plethora of water clones, and while they do go down in one hit, Lucy doesn't have to worry about the clones having to be the same strength or weaker than her. She was even able to fool the Dragon Slayer Kiria with these clones, and as a Dragon Slayer she should have incredibly enhanced sense. Lucy can use these clones to set up her most powerful spell, Gottfried which beat Kiria and she was beating the hell out of Lucy before that. The one drawback this form has is that it can only last for 16 seconds at most.

Dragon Soul: Water Moon Form

The most recent form Lucy got as of me making this blog and will probably end up being her peak of power for the time being. Lucy got this form after summoning Mercphobia for the first time with Selene deciding to join in on the fun. The two dragons then used the Dragon Soul technique to embed themselves in Lucy's body which gave her an appearance like Selene in her human form but with wavy accents on her outfit. She even gets a new form for her whip. Since this essentially functions like a Star Dress Mix, Lucy also has the powers of both Water and Moon Dragon Slayer Magic of two Dragon Gods. In this form Lucy gains a dramatic increase in speed to the point where she perceived Ignia's son Wed like he was moving in slow motion. And got so strong to the point where she was able to one-shot him, and he was previously giving Erza major trouble in their fight. She also gains a new move with this new form.
  • Water-Moon Cherry Blossom Mist: Lucy uses her new whip powered by Water and Moon Dragon Slayer magic that generates a powerful stream of water and cherry blossoms.

Scaling

Fairy Tail

While she was originally on the weaker end of Wizards in the Fairy Tail guild, Lucy has gotten dramatically stronger. She's now one of the core members of the guild and has even thrown hands with a dragon god and won. And she now has the power of two dragons who are at least on the level of Acnologia. So she should scale to most feats performed by her guildmates.

Spriggan 12

While Lucy was definitely weaker than the members of the Spriggan 12 during the Alvarez Empire Arc, her power has grown exponentially. By the current arc of 100 Year Quest, Lucy has been shown to fight alongside Brandish and contribute equally to their fight with Mercphobia. And with her new Dragon Soul form that two dragon gods gave her, she can even scale above the likes of August, Irene, and even the Black Wizard Zeref.

Acnologia & The Dragon Gods

Although Lucy more than likely can't scale to big Acno and the other Dragon gods by herself, with the power of her Dragon Soul Form, she has the powers and strength of both Selene and Mercphobia. Two of those 5 (used to be 6) Dragon Gods, who Elefseria says are all at least as strong as Acnolgia. And even before this, Lucy was able to knock out Mercphobia with the help of Brandish's size magic. On top of that she even has one of those Dragon Gods as a summonable ally.

Weaknesses

Although Lucy does have a truly insane number of strengths, she isn't completely flawless. Being a holder type wizard means that should she lose the objects she "holds" so do most of her powers. Lucy's magic specifically can also be targeting by other magic or powers that manipulate space as Lucy is summoning her spirits from an alternate space. And even if she wanted to bring out the big guns and summon the Celestial Spirit King, she would have to sacrifice one of her keys to do so. And the king doesn't stay for very long before going back to his world. So Lucy would virtually lose two summons. On top of that every Wizard in the Fairy Tail world has a limited supply of magic and should she run out of magic power she could potentially die. Although her Second Origin does help with this a bit acting as a second stored container.

Alear

Background
Over 1,000 years ago there was a being known as the Fell Dragon Sombron. Sombron would spend his days with what was called an Emblem Hero, until one day he would inexplicably end up in an alternate world in the continent of Elyos. And when he got there his Emblem Hero was gone and as a result he would basically go mad and want to invade other worlds to gain his partner back. But he would also sire a bunch of children during his time in this dimension and declare war on another race of dragons known as the Divine Dragons. And he would enlist his children into this war as well, and one of these children was named Alear.

Alear wouldn't necessarily care for the conflict or the war going on, but due to not spending time with her siblings she would grow up pretty lonely. And as such during the war she would do things to try and get her fathers approval. Her main claim to fame was gathering the 12 Emblem Rings which dramatically increased their sides power. With Alears personal partner being the Emblem of Beginnings, Marth. But this still wasn't enough to get her fathers attention but thankfully for her even after her fellow siblings fell in battle she learned she had one sibling who had not yet joined the war and decided to pay them a visit. During her visit she would gift her younger sibling a Dragonstone and told them that as long as this stone was intact she would never be alone as it meant that Alear was still alive. And not long after this encounter Alear would find herself face to face with the Divine Dragon Monarch Lumera. And while they were supposed to be enemies the two would actually bond quite heavily. And they would continue to see each other in secret with Lumera basically adopting Alear as her own child.

This turn of events would lead to Alear betraying her father in order to be with her new mother. And while she did win their fight, she didn't finish the job and when she turned around to be with her new mom Sombron blasted a hole through her. Alear would tell Lumera that she wished she could've been a good dragon like her before dying in her mothers arms. But luckily for her she didn't die fully and while it took 1,000 years Alear would eventually wake up. But sadly for both her and her mother Alear had no memories prior to waking up. And even more sadly, basically right after reuniting with her mother their castle was attacked and Lumera launched herself in front of an attack to protect her daughter from being killed by a mysterious assailant.

Due to this Alear and learning that the Fell Dragon was planning his return, Alear and her new allies from the countries on the continent would journey from country to country and gain even more new allies as well as Emblem Rings all with different Emblem Heroes. And this would all culminate during her and her allies battles against Sombrons forces which would even include a mind controlled Veyle which led to them losing all of their rings. But thankfully after several more battles they would get new rings and eventually regain their lost ones before challenging Veyle who was once again mind controlled and possessed Marth in her fight against her sister. But after Alear beat Veyle she was able to free her from her mind control but their Papa decided to step in to try and kill his children with Alear stepping in the way to protect her little sister as she had previously learned of the twos connection again. While she was dead and in a sort of Astral Plane like afterlife she would meet again with Veyle even though she was still alive and managed to convince her to fight alongside her against their father by reviving her as one of the reanimated corpses known as a Corrupted.

After waking up Alear led a charge to take back the Emblem Rings that Sombron used to raise the sunken continent of Gradlon which drained most of their power. But Alear was able to use her own power to help summon the Emblems and give them to her friends. But after using all her power, she would die again. But due to her resolve the Emblems that she had become friends with offered her another chance to fight and performed a miracle and made Alear into the 13th Emblem, The Fire Emblem. And with this new power as both a Divine Dragon and an Emblem Alear was able to finally defeat Sombron and bring peace back to Elyos. Where she would reign as the Divine Dragon Monarch.

Skill & Experience

Alear is an incredibly skilled combatant. During her time as one of the Fell Dragon's soldiers during their war against the Divine Dragons, she was considered to be the most capable of those soldiers. And after betraying Sombron she was even able to best him in single combat and only got killed since she got snuck. And even after her 1,000 year coma she pretty much hadn't lost a beat, being able to give Lumera a run for her money. And she was able to somehow even remember how to summon the Emblems even though she had amnesia. Alear could also even defeat the Emblems themselves in combat during the trials they gave her.

Equipment

Libération

This sword was given to Alear by her mother as a last gift before she unfortunately passed away from her injuries. This sword is special in the fact that it can only be used by Divine Dragons and the reason that Alear can use it despite being born as a Fell Dragon is because Lumera spent the 1,000 years Alear was slumbering to transfer her Divine Dragon powers into her daughter. Alear can also engrave this sword with the power of her Emblems to give it different traits.

Wille Glanz

After defeating a corrupted version of her mother Lumera, Alear gained this sword. Like Libération this weapon can only be used by a Divine Dragon. But this sword is basically an improved version of her old one as with Wille Glanz she can attack both up close with physical sword slashes, and attack at range using sword magic.

Lyration

This sword is one of Alear's unique Engage weapons for whenever she channels herself as an Emblem as well as being channeled into one of her allies (don't ask). This sword is essentially an improved version of Libération but it also fills her nearby allies Engage meter a bit if she can defeat her enemy in one turn.

Dragon's Fist

The Dragon's Fist is another of Alear's Engage Weapons as well as an arts scroll. In Fire Emblem: Engage, Arts scrolls are basically scrolls of knowledge that give the wielder the ability to use that specific martial art. They also allow the user to hit twice if they are the one to start the combat encounter. Alear's Dragon's Fist is unique as it uses her magic stat rather than her strength stat.

Oligoludia

The last of Alear's unique Engage Weapons. This sword basically functions like the rest of her normal swords but it does even more damage against the Corrupted.

Other Weapons

While Alear typically relies on and Art Scrolls her swords due to her Divine Dragon Class, she is capable of changing classes and thus capable of changing the types of weapons she can wield. She can use axes to break lances and deal bonus damage to axe wielders and can do the same with lances to other sword wielders. She's also capable of using tomes to cast different types of magic, mainly of the elemental variety but can also use dark magic. She can also wield different types of staves, which have a wide variety of effects. These include preventing others from using magic or staves with Slience, holding her opponent in place with Freeze, healing, bolstering her defense, warping her allies far away or nearby and the same with her enemies. And many many more. I would go into all of them but I'm just one guy. Just know they're incredibly versatile.

Draconic Time Crystal

Possibly the most useful tool in Alear's entire arsenal. Given to her after Lumera's passing, this crystal allows Alear to literally rewind time should she make a mistake during fights. Should she make a mistake she can activate the crystal to rewind to another point during battles to try out a different strategy. Although it does have one flaw, should the DTC be stolen for whatever reason and then regained, Alear can only rewind back to the point where she regained the Time Crystal.

Emblem Rings & Bracelets

The main part of Alear's arsenal is her incredibly impressive jewelry collection. After journeying to different countries, Alear collected all 12 Emblem Rings which is how she summons the Emblem Heroes. But she also has access to Emblem Bracelets as they inexplicably just ended up in her world from another and they function practically the exact same.

Emblem Rings:
  • Ring of the Hero King: Summons Marth the Emblem of Beginnings
  • Ring of the Caring Princess: Summons Celica the Emblem of Echoes

  • Bracelet of the Lonely Heir: Summons Veronica the Emblem of Heroes

Abilities
Personal Abilities

Alear has her own Personal abilities/skills that basically function like class skills but they differ in that Alear can and will learn them no matter which class she undertakes.
  • Divinely Inspiring: With this skill Alear's nearby allies will dish out extra damage while minimizing the damage they receive
  • Divine Spirit: This is Alear's super exclusive skill due to her Divine Dragon Class. This skill shortens the time refill of Alear's Engage Meter, allowing her to re-enter her Engage forms faster.

Dragon Blast

This is Alear's Engage attack when she summons herself as an Emblem. Alear hits her opponent with her sword before jumping back and firing a massive beam of energy from her palm that does massive damage to most enemies. She also has a variant called Bond Blast that she can use when next to an ally. It basically does the same thing with her ally getting a hit in with their weapon and then the two of them fire an even more powerful beam.

Emblems
Marth

Marth is the first Emblem Alear had access too as she spent 1,000 years sleeping with his ring on her finger. As such he is functionally Alear's partner as he is the Emblem she is shown to summon by far the most. Emblem Marth grants Alear the following abilities.
  • Perceptive: This skill boosts Alears avoidance dramatically if she initiates the combat encounter.
  • Break Defenses: Should Alear break an enemy, she'll follow up with an extra attack that deals 50% damage of the original attack.
  • Unyielding: This skill restores 40% of Alear's health if it's below 40% at the start of her turn.

Tiki

Tiki happens to be one of Marth's allies and the Bracelet Emblem Alear seems to summon the most similar to Marth for the Rings. Tiki is also a Divine Dragon like Alear and can even transform into her dragon form at will, unlike Alear. Tiki grants her fellow Divine Dragon the following abilities
  • Starsphere: Gives her an increased gain in stats when she levels up
  • Geosphere: At the start of her turn this skill grants her a buff in defense and resistence if there are allies nearby
  • Lifesphere: Should Alear choose to engage in combat for a turn, up to 40 HP will be restored.
  • Lightsphere: If Alear initiates combat, the chances of receiving a critical hit are halved.

Celica

After going to the lands of Firene, Alear received the ring to summon Celica. Celica's specialty is dealing out magic attacks, and as such she gives Alear the following.
  • Holy Stance: Halves the damage she takes if hit by a Corrupted
  • Resonance: Should her HP be above 2, she'll lose one HP during an attack in return for her attacks dealing out extra damage.
  • Favorite Food: Eating leftover food completely fills up the Engage Meter

Sigurd

Sigurd's ring was given to Alear by her adoptive mother Lumera as a last memento of her dying mother. As such Sigurd is also a prominent Emblem of Alear's that she summons quite often. He's a cavalry unit so when synced or Engaged with him (more on that next section) she gains way more mobility. He also gives her some unique abilities, such as;
  • Canter: After attacking Alear can move again for up to 3 spaces.
  • Momentum: Gives Alear a buff on her attack depending on how many spaces she moved prior.
  • Headlong Rush: This skill grants her immunity to the Freeze status effect

Leif

After defeating one of her enemies then turned allies, princes Ivy; Alear gained the ability to summon Emblem Leif with his Ring. Leif's specialty is that he can wield all four main types of weapon without having to change classes to do so. Leif gives Alear access to the following.
  • Arms Shield: If Alear has the weapon advantage compared to her opponent, she'll take 7 less damage than normal.
  • Vantage: Should Alear's health be below 75% and her opponent initiates their combat encounter she can actually counterattack before her opponents first attack.

Roy

Roy was the Emblem granted to the kingdom of Brodia. After journeying to Brodia for its emblem ring, Roy joined they're fight to help out the Divine Dragon. As an Emblem he too possesses unique abilities.
  • Hold Out: This is essentially a focus sash from Pokémon, preventing Alear from dying at the start of a combat encounter.
  • Advance: Used to move 1 space closer to an enemy 2 spaces away and attack (a lot of these skills are kinda hard to enterpret in a real time battle)
  • Unyielding: Does the same thing it did with Marth

Lyn

Lyn was originally one of the Emblem's in Sombron's forces before being stolen by Ivy and given to Alear to help her out of a situation where her previous emblems were stolen. Lyn is an archer and as such specializes in dishing out long range damage at the cost of not being able to do anything in the short range. As such she gives her sync partner some archer based abilities.

  • Alarcity: Lets her attack twice before her opponent has a chance to counterattack as long as she's faster.
  • Speedtaker: If she initiates combat and defeats an enemy, her speed will be increased and this stacks with more enemies taken down and lasts for the whole battle.

Hector

Hector was one of Lyn's allies in The Blazing Blade. As an Emblem Hector's whole deal is his raw strength, fitting given his title as the Emblem of Strength. Hector comes with the following abilites;
  • Quick Riposte: Allows a follow up attack as long as the weapon allows it and health is above 60%.
  • Adaptability: When hit by an attack, defense and magic resistence are both buffed.
  • Heavy Attack: Adds excess damage dealt to an opponent if weapons weight stat exceeds its build stat.
  • Piercing Glare: Prevents opponents from entering the four adjacent spaces when HP is full.

Eirika & Ephraim

This ring was stolen by Rosado in the hopes of reuniting with his friend and royal Hortensia. After successfully doing so the ring was given to Alear. This ring is special in that like Chrom & Robin it holds two Emblems within it, being the twins Eirika and Ephraim.
  • Night and Day: Used to switch between Eirika and Ephraim at will.
  • Lunar Brace: When synced with Eirika, a physical attack will deal 30% extra damage.
  • Solar Brace: When synced with Ephraim, a physical attack will also heal up to 50% of damage dealt.
  • Eclipse Brace: When Engaged, physical attacks both deal an extra 30% damage while healing up to 50% of health.
  • Gentility: When synced with Eirika, Alear takes 5 less damage.
  • Bravery: When synced with Ephraim, Alear deals 5 more damage.
  • Blue Skies: When Engaged, Alear both deals 5 more damage and takes 5 less damage.

Ike

Ike was one of the Emblems given to Solm and guarded by its princess and future ruler Timerra. Ike's whole deal is his incredible defense and destructive capability. He comes equipped with these skills.
  • Demolish: Easily destroys destructible terrain within one hit
  • Resolve: If health falls below 75%, defense and resistance are both dramatically increased for the rest of the battle as long as health remains under that 75% threshold.
  • Reposition: Used to swap positions with a nearby ally.
  • Wrath: Gives an additional gain in critical hit chance with every HP lost with a max amount of 30.

Soren

Soren was Ike's advisor and strategist during their time in the Greil Mercenaries. Soren's specialty is dishing out strong magic attacks similar to Emblem Celica, and having some skills that represent his strategies.
  • Assign Decoy: Makes an ally more likely to be targeted for a brief period of time.
  • Anima Focus: Depending on the tome used opponents will be granted a different type of debuff. Defense is reduced by fire tomes, accuracy is reduced by thunder tomes and mobility is reduced by wind tomes.
  • Keen Focus: Deals an extra amount of damage when that damage is particularly effect against enemies.
  • Block Recovery: When attacking a broken foe using a tome, grants a 50% chance that the opponent will stay in their broken state.

Micaiah

The other Emblem that was hidden in the lands of Firene was Micaiah. Her specialty is healing with staves as well as light type magic. She also grants Alear her own unique abilities.
  • Cleric: This skill gives Alear and any of her allies to use staves regardless of their class.
  • Healing Light: When healing an ally, Alear would regain 50% of the health that she healed for her ally.
  • Silence Ward: Makes her immune to the Silence status condition.

Lucina

The other of two Emblems stolen by Ivy and given to Alear. Her kit is kind of similar to Marth's in a way which makes sense given their apparent relation. Although it's also pretty different as her strengths come from helping out her allies. She grants the following abilities;
  • Dual Strike: Will assist allies with a chain attack even if not adjacent to the current ally as long as they're nearby.
  • Dual Assist: Will always perform a chain attack if allies could reach their target by moving toward them.
  • Dual Support: Gives allies a buff in their avoidance stat which increases based on their support rank.

Chrom & Robin

Chrom happens to be Lucina's father and Robin is his most trusted ally and his strategist. When summoning Chrom is usually the one out but when Engaged is when Robin appears. As a dual summon they specialize in maximizing battle strategies. They give these skills;
  • Surprise Attack: Prevents opponents from counterattack if they are attacked from a terrain that boosts avoidance stats.
  • Rally Spectrum: Increases nearby allies stats by 3 for a short period of time.
  • Brute Force: If a physical attack is used, critical hit damage will by increased by a third.
  • Charm: If a chain attack is triggered, the accuracy goes up from 80% to 90%.

Corrin

The other Emblem entrusted to the kingdom of Solm was Corrin. Corrin, like Alear is also a dragon and as such her abilities are maximized when paired with the two dragon siblings.
  • Dragon Vein: Used to cause changes in the environment depending on the class of the synced unit, but as a Dragon Alear can use them all.
    • Vein of Stone: Creates stone pillars that increase both defense and resistance.
    • Vein of Water: Creates an area of water that decreases avoidance on foes.
    • Vein of Fog: Creates an area dense with fog that increaeses avoidance on themselves and allies
    • Vein of Vines: Creates vines that grant immunity to the break condition in an area.
    • Vein of Succor: Creates a healing glow that restores self and ally's HP in specific spots.
    • Vein of Flame: Sets an area of the battlefield on fire that then causes damage to any enemies in the torrent of flames.
    • Vein of Ice: Creates a set of pillars of ice that can block enemies from reaching Alear.
  • Quality Time: If next to an ally after performing any act, the ally will regain 10 HP and support will be increased slightly.
  • Draconic Hex: Should Alear start a combat encounter, their foes stats will decrease
  • Pair Up: Prevents foes from being able to do damage with chain attacks.

Camilla

The adoptive sister of Corrin and one of the princesses of the kingdom of Nohr. Like her sister the blood of Dragons run through her veins so she's also best when paired with Dragon units like Alear.
  • Dragon Vein: Does the same thing it does with Corrin, just with different ranges.
  • Decisive Strike: If combat is initiated and Alear lands a critical hit, her opponent will not be able to move for a brief period of time as well as any nearby enemies.
  • Detoxify: Immediately cures the poison status condition on self.
  • Groundswell:

Byleth

After the battle to protect the queendom of Solm, Alear gained Byleth as an Emblem for herself and her allies. In his home game of Three Houses he serves as a professor and as such his skills are basically equipped to help out allies.
  • Divine Pulse: Attacks that would normally be misses would turn into guaranteed hits, which has a 50% chance to trigger.
  • Mentorship: Gives a 1.2 EXP bonus to both Alear and nearby allies.
  • Lost & Found: Should she wait next to an ally there is a chance they could find a lost item and increase support with them.

Edelgard/Dimitri/Claude

Probably the most unique Emblems that Alear can summon. These three are the House Leaders of Three Houses and Byleth's students in the original world of that game. The three of them are mostly similar with what they give but due have a unique gambit depending on which of them is currently being synced.
  • Friendly Rivalry: Randomly selects whether Edelgard, Claude or Dimitri is currently the Emblem being synced with.
  • Lineage: Increases EXP earned by 20%.
  • Weapon Sync: Should Alear be using the same weapon type as the synced Emblem, attack while be increased by 7 points. And if engaged it will increase regardless of weapon type.
  • Gambit: A type of battle strategy that changes depending on which of the House Leaders is currently synced.
    • Flame Gambit: When synced with Edelgard, an attack is performed and then set the area and them on fire.
    • Shield Gambit: When synced with Dimitri a shield of shorts is formed that protects them from long ranged attacks.
    • Poison Gambit: When synced with Claude an attack is performed which poisons that foe and spreads poison in the area as well.

Veronica

After defeating her in a battle, Alear enlisted the help of Emblem Veronica. Veronica's whole deal is that she's basically a classical summoner. And as such she can choose the types of units she can summon as well.
  • Reprisal: If not at full health 50% of the lost health will be added to the attack stat.
  • Book of Worlds:
  • Level Boost: Defeating an opponent with a higher level causes a temporary increase in own level until the end of the battle.
  • SP Conversion: After defeating an enemy 20 SP will be given.

Emblem Engage

A bonus effect of the Emblems that Alear has is that instead of just summoning and syncing skills and attacks with them, she can perform an Emblem Engage. This is essentially a form where she fuses with her Emblems and takes on appearances akin to them as well as gaining new Engage Skills and Engage Attacks, and even the weapons the Emblems are based on had.

Marth Emblem Engage

After Engaging with Marth, she takes on a portion of his appearance and gains some of his abilities as well as his weapons. With this form she can perform multiple sword swings incredibly fast and has improved mobility.
  • Divine Speed: Marth's Engage Skill, this lets Alear perform an additional that does 50% of the damage of the original attack while also healing up Alear.
  • Lodestar Rush: Marth's Engage Attack, with it Alear delivers 7 sword attacks in a row that deal 30% damage of a normal hit but stack up to total massive damage.

Tiki Emblem Engage

In her Tiki Engage Alear gains her abilities and most notably as an extension of one of those abilities, is transformed into a dragon. As a dragon Alear gains the ability to fly, and use dragon breath to attack. As well as being able to use her tail and claws to deal more damage.
  • Draconic Form: Tiki's Engage skill which transforms her synced unit into a dragon to take on her abilities.
  • Divine Blessing: Tiki's Engage Attack which gives an ally a revival stone, allowing them to keep fighting even after their initial health is depleted (This does not help in a 1v1 big dog.)

Celica Emblem Engage

In this state Alear fuses with Celica and gains her abilities to use magic. She can also basically perform a magic nuke spell and warp far away.
  • Echo: Celica's Engage Skill which allows the Engaged unit to attack twice in a row at 50% damage of the original attack would be from further range.
  • Warp Ragnarok: Celica's Engage Attack, where the synced unit warps up to 10 spaces away before blowing

Sigurd Emblem Engage

In this state Alear fuses with Sigurd, and as Sigurd is a cavalry unit she gains his incredible mobility. She also gains the ability to use his main weapons of lances and obviously some of his abilities.
  • Gallop: Gives extra mobility
  • Override: Alear charges up a beam of energy from her lance before unleashing and and basically piercing through her enemy

Leif Emblem Engage

In this form Alear takes on Leif's abilities and even gains the ability to use pretty much every weapon type aside from tomes. Like normal she also gains an Engage Skill and Attack unique to Leif.
  • Adaptable: If her opponent initiates a combat encounter, she'll counter with the weapon that has the advantage over it to deal bonus damage.
  • Quadruple Hit: Alear performs a powerful attack with a sword, axe, and then lance and finished off with a powerful hit from a bow.

Roy Emblem Engage

Engaging with Roy gives Alear extra offensive capabilities and the ability to use his weapons. There's even a special sword that turns the weapon triangle upside down by being strong against lances but weak against axes.
  • Rise Above: Roy's Engage skill which increases  Alear's level by 5.
  • Blazing Lion: Roy's Engage Attack where Alear uses her sword to sideswipe an area to attack her opponents and set that area on fire.

Lyn Emblem Engage

In this form Alear is able to take on Lyn's abilities as well as her weapons of choice, being bows, but she does have a sword she can use as well. She also gains a massive increase in her speed while Engaged with Lyn.
  • Call Doubles: Lyn's Engage Skill, which allows them to call up to 4 illusory doubles that can chain attack in any hit Alear performs, giving her 5 chances to hit her opponent.
  • Astra Storm: Lyn's Engage Attack which is used to shoot 5 arrows at once at an incredible distance, the damage varies on the type of bow is used and the unit it is used against.

Hector Emblem Engage

Engaging with Hector gives Alear some nice golden armor as well as the ability to use his giant axes as her Engage Weapons. She also gains his incredible strength and a new Engage Skill and Attack.
  • Impenetrable: Hector's Engage Skill where if an opponent initiates combat, Alear gains a 30% increase in her defense and resistance stats.
  • Storm's Eye: Hector's Engage Attack, where Alear lets out a howl to prevent her opponents from performing follow up attacks for a brief period of time.

Eirika Emblem Engage

In this form Alear fuses with Emblem Eirika and even gains the ability to have Ephraim fight by her side while Engaged. She also gains the ability to use Eirika's weapons and her Engage Skill and Attack.
  • Sacred Twins: While Engaged, the Solar and Lunar Brace skills are replaced by the Eclipse Brace skill and Gentility/Bravery are swapped out with Blue Skies.
  • Twin Strike: Eirika's Engage Attack where Alear fires a beam from her sword, then Ephraim follows up with a beam from his lance to deal two powerful attacks at once.

Ike Emblem Engage

In this Engage form, she gains the weapons and abilities of Emblem Ike. This means she gains a damn near impenetrable defense and the sword Ragnell which can attack up close like a normal sword and at range by using it's magic. She also gains a new Emblem Skill and Attack.
  • Laguz Friend: Ike's Engage Skill which has them take 50% less damage at the cost of not being able to dodge while Engaged.
  • Great Aether: Ike's Emblem Attack which has Alear minimize any targeted damage on her for 1 turn and then she unleashes a powerful attack that damages anyone in a wide area.

Soren Emblem Engage

After fusing with Soren, Alear gains the ability to use his tomes as well as a unique stave called Reflect. With this Stave she can make any allies nearby her be able to counter any magic attacks at 50% damage.
  • Flare: When using tomes to attack foes will be inflicted with a -20% debuff on their resistance and will be healed up to 50% of the damage dealt.
  • Cataclsym: Unleashes a powerful attack that uses the elements of fire, thunder and wind to attack a massive area three times at 40% damage for eache hit.

Micaiah Emblem Engage

In this form Alear dons an orange outfit which Micaiah definitely was not in and her hair turns orange. Why I don't know since almost every other Emblem Engage makes Alear's appearance more similar to them. Back on topic in this state Alear can use tomes and staves and gains an incredibly bigger range when using staves as well as powered up healing.
  • Augment: Grants staff usage extra range
  • Great Sacrifice: Causes Alear to give up all HP except 1 to restore all of her allies health back to full.

Lucina Emblem Engage

Engaging with Lucina allows Alear to take on her weapons, mainly the copies of her ancestor Marth's swords as well as a special bow. She also gains Lucina's abilities.
  • Bonded Shield: Prevents attacks on nearby allies with an 80% chance to trigger.
  • All For One: Alear performs a powerful sword attack that gets stronger, with the more allies she has nearby her in which all of them chain attack.

Chrom Emblem Engage

Engaging with Chrom grants Alear his weapons like the Levin Sword and even Robin as an additional Emblem to help out. She also gains his abilities as well as some of Robin's.
  • Other Half: If Alear starts a combat encounter, Robin will always perform a chain attack. This skill also boosts their magic stat by 10 while Engaged.
  • Giga Levin Sword: Alear partners up with Robin to charge the Levin Sword with electricity before slamming it down into her enemy. This is also a magic attack that uses the physical strength stat.

Corrin Emblem Engage

After Engaging with Corrin, Alear dons an appearance similar to hers and gains her weapons. One being the legendary sword Yato which only she can use and by extension so can Alear. As a bonus, as both are Dragons, the abilities she gets by Engaging with Corrin are way stronger than they would be for any other unit.
  • Dreadful Aura: If she initiates combat, her opponent and any of their nearby allies become unable to move for a short period of time.
  • Torrential Roar: Alear turns her arm into a dragon mouth before shooting a stream of water that's capable of hitting 3 enemies lined up, and even causes the terrain to change into water.

Camilla Emblem Engage

After fusing with Camilla, Alear dons armor similar to hers and the blue side of her hair changes to purple. She even gains the ability to fly and Camilla's axes as well as her lightning magic.
  • Soar: Grants extra mobility and movement options as Alear moves across the battlefield like she's a flying unit, allowing her to avoid negative terrain effects.
  • Dark Inferno: Camilla's Engage Attack, where Alear flies downward to strike an area with her axe to deal massive damage to opponents in that area and set it on fire.

Byleth Emblem Engage

Fusing with Byleth gives Alear purple hair for some reason. Why, I don't know, both versions of Byleth's hair is green. Back to the point, she also gains the ability to wield a variety of Heroes Relics as weapons, and buffs to give her allies.
  • Instruct: Byleth's Engage Skill which buffs a specific stat of allies depending on their unit type but when uses by a Dragon it buffs all seven stats at once.
  • Goddess Dance: Byleth's Engage Attack where Alear performs a dance that rejuvenates adjacent allies stamina to allow them to perform another action.

House Leaders Emblem Engage

After Engaging with either Edelgard, Claude or Dimitri, Alear takes on this Engage form. In this form she becomes able to wield all of their specific Heroes Relics as her weapons. She also gains their Combat Arts as her own abilities.
  • Combat Arts: The House Leaders Engage Skill which gives Alear the ability to use their unique combat arts at the cost of some of her Engage Meter.
    • Raging Storm: Edelgard's Combat Art where she performs a move with Aymr to cause deal massive damage that could also conjure a massive whirlwind of fire. It also let's Alear perform another action after combat.
    • Atrocity: Dimitri's Combat Art where a powerful attack is performed with Areadbhar that deals out damage double of its might stat.
    • Fallen Star: Claude's Combat Art where a powerful bow attack is performed with Failnaught that can fire from pretty far away, and allows Alear to avoid her opponents next attack.
  • Houses Unite: The House Leaders Engage Attack where Alear uses all three of their weapons to deal out insane damage on her opponent.

Veronica Emblem Engage

In this state Alear is fused with Emblem Veronica and as such gains her weapons and tomes as well as her abilities to summon units to help her out in combat.

  • Contract: Veronica's Engage Skill which can give another action to an adjacent ally that has already performed one similar to Goddess Dance.
  • Summon Hero: Veronica's Engage Attack which summons an additional unit to the battlefield to help out with the fight. And when used by a dragon the unit becomes even stronger. This unit can be chosen from an axe wielder, lance wielder, sword wielder, or magic or bow user.

Emblem Alear

Alear's final form and what should be the peak of her power. After dying a third time, The 12 Emblems decided to perform their miracle power to revive Alear and give her the power to turn herself into an Emblem. While in gameplay she can only use this when adjacent to an ally, it's heavily implied by her own dialogue that she can summon herself as an Emblem. As one of the Emblems she gains her own unique Engage Weapons which I went over in the arsenal section as well as the powerful Dragon Blast as her Engage Attack.

Feats

Overall
  • Defeated Sombron, Sombron again, Rafal, and a Corrupted Lumera
  • Beat a past version of herself which leads to her becoming a Divine Dragon thanks to time shenanigans
  • Rescued Veyle from her other self
  • Became the Fire Emblem
  • Eventually ruled over Elyos as the Divine Dragon Monarch

Power

Speed

Durability

Scaling

Sombron

In the past before even becoming a Divine Dragon, Alear confronted Sombron in a 1v1 and even came out on top of that encounter. She only died to him after because she got hit with a piercing sneak attack when she went to reunite with Lumera. And 1,000 years later she was able to defeat him again so she definitely scales to him.

Before My Verdict

Emblem Scaling

While I already brought this up at the start of the blog, I thought it important to reiterate that I will not be giving Alear scaling to the Emblems. While she does defeat all of them during their paralogues I don't think this matters much. The reason for this is because every time Alear gains a new Emblem ally, they pretty much always say that they are not the actual person they're based on. While their memories are there, some of them are also contradictory, like Hector not knowing who Roy is and Corrin being able to remember every single campaign of Fates. There's also the fact that while the powers are similar, they aren't the same such as Byleth's Divine Pulse changing from a time rewind to a reroll for a chance for a miss to become a guaranteed hit.

Eclipse Celestial Spirit Arc

For some of you reading this, particularly fairy Tail fans, you may have noticed that during Lucy's feat/scaling section I didn't bring up this arc. The reason for this is because even though those feats are powerful, they are definitely outliers. The Spriggan 12 who a stronger version of Lucy fights given that she explicitly says she got stronger with a year of training as well as her Star Dresses being a thing confirm she is stronger in that arc. And multiple members of that group are able to consistently beat her during it. And they're also constantly stated by the author of the manga himself to be the strongest opponents the crew has faced at this point. And to address Zeref with Fairy Heart, no I do not that believe he has universal attack power. He was going to basically press a magic reset button on the timeline with a specific spell that has that range but due to it being a reset, it cannot scale to him physically. Which is pretty obvious given that if he was a universe buster with it, he could've easily killed Acnologia. Which is the whole reason he wanted to reset the timeline with Neo Eclipse in the first place.

My Verdict

Stats

To start us off I'm going to go over somehow both the most simple and complicated part of this debate, their stats. Alear defeating Sombron and therefore scaling to him and his feat of rising Gradlon clocks in at about 408 Teratons. Compared to Lucy's best feat of her celestial spirit's being the King himself cutting through the Plutogrim at 13 Megatons. So Alear would normally be able to easily take on anything Lucy could through her way and one-shot basically all of her Celestial Spirits. But then we get to the Dragon Gods, with Mercphobia lifting the sea coming in at 1.2 Petatons and Selene's Moon feat at 2.7 Yottatons. Which are both magnitudes stronger than the Gradlon feat. And with the power of Dragon Soul, Lucy takes on their abilities as well as their stats. But those summons are both only available in specific circumstances, Mercphobia requires an incredibly large body of water to be summoned and Selene kinda just does shit whenever she feels like it.

That also brings us to their speed, which is mostly even. Both Lucy and Alear have dodged or scale to characters who've dodged lightning. And to get more crazy Alear can dodge Micaiah's Light based magic attack Thani and Lucy without the power of her Dragon Gods can scale to Haku, who can move at light speed. But then we get back to that Water Moon Dragon Soul Form and Lucy with Selene's speed should be over 30 times faster. So as you can see this stat debate heavily relies on whether Lucy can pull off summoning her Dragon Gods or not. As both characters have heavily specific arguments for stat stomping and due to this I think stats should result in a tie.

Skill

Next up is just how skilled and experienced they are as I believe this is also very important in seeing how this matchup plays out. Both Lucy and Alear have some incredible showings of both, with Lucy being able to go toe to toe with members of the dragon slaying guild Diabolos with her Star Dresses. And Alear can take on the Emblems themselves as well as being able to defeat both Sombron and Lumera. But their experience is a bit of a different story, while it is true that Alear has technically been "alive" for more than 1,000 years, she spent majority of that time functionally dead. And the events of Fire Emblem Engage happen over seemingly just a few weeks or months. Compared to Lucy who has been fighting as a member of Fairy Tail for over 3 years at this point. And while Sombron and Lumera have also both been alive for about as long as Alear and Sombron even more so, they also spent majority of the time not actually fighting. So the experience wouldn't carry over that much. Due to this I think Lucy gets a hard fought victory in this category.

Summons/Forms

A critcal part in this matchup is comparing just how good each others summons would be against each other. And for the most part it is pretty even with both Lucy and Alear having advantages over each other. The best advantage that Lucy has in this category is that she can summon more than one of hers on the battlefield at a time, being able to use 3 Celestial Spirits. Compared to Alear only being able to sync with one of her Emblems to gain it's abilities. On top of that when using their forms Lucy can still have her spirits out with her Star Dresses at the cost of not being exactly as strong as them. But Alear does get exactly as powerful as her Emblems when Engaging with them even if she no longer has access to being able to summon them. Alears combat useful summons also outnumber the ones Lucy can use but Lucy can potentially overwhelm them with being able to summon more than one at once. On top of that the two of them both have summons that can easily one shot the other ones, with Lucy it's her Dragon Gods and Alear could really pick her poison with any one of them. Although the Dragon Gods are definitely stronger but the Emblems definitely have the more useful abilities. Due to this insane back and forth I'd argue that their summons and Star Dresses/Engage Forms would result in a tie.

Abilities

One of the most important questions in this debate is pretty much who has the better abilities and means to counter each others abilities. And while Lucy does have some nice ones, especially with being able to summon two dragons that dwarf anything Alear can throw at her attack wise, she gets severely outclassed in this category. Even if Lucy got the speed buff from Dragon Soul, Emblem Byleth's Divine Pulse skill would give her the chance to hit her anyway. Similarly, Alear can make herself way harder to hit with Corrin/Camilla's Vein of Fog. And even decrease Lucy's avoidance with Vein of Water, and no it doesn't produce enough water for Mercphobia to be summoned. She can also make herself unable to be killed in one combat encounter with Hold Out giving her more chances to attack Lucy. So Alear wins this category hands down.

Arsenal

And now for the grand finale and sadly, like the last one this category isn't really close either. While Lucy's arsneal-ish is kinda impressive, the only real parts of it are her whip and Gate keys. Compared to Alear who has a myriad of weapons that she can use. Swords, Axes, Lances, Bows, Tomes and most importantly, Staves. As one Stave she can use pretty much can completely shut down Lucy. The Silence stave prevents opponents from using any sort of magic items and possibly magic itself. And given that Lucy's whole fighting style relies on that she would pretty much be a sitting duck which would allow Alear to take advantage of the opening and pretty much instantly win. And even with the Water-moon forms speed advantage, Divine Pulse also works on staves, meaning that Lucy can still be hit with silence, especially if Alear is working with a maxed out luck stat.

And not to mention the Draconic Time Crystal which Alear can use at any moment she wants to in order to reverse a situation she doesn't like by literally reversing time to a prior moment where only she remembers it. Although Lucy could potentially use Gemini to transform into Alear and know how much of an advantage it is and try to steal it, she still has no meaningful way around being inflicted with Silence. So Alear should get the final edge.

Conclusion

Lucy

Advantages:
  • The more experienced fighter/summoner
  • Can use more than one summon at a time, and use them even while using Star Dress forms.
  • Selene and Mercphobia and by proxy, Dragon Soul Water-Moon Form destroy Alear easily
  • Faster in Dragon Soul
  • Hotter
Disadvantages:
  • Starts off significantly weaker without the help off the incredibly circumstantial Dragon Gods
  • Has a significantly less wide arsenal
  • That fucking time crystal that I have ambivalence toward
  • Divine Pulse is some bullshit that could basically nullify Lucy's potential speed advantage
  • Silence either shuts off her magic completely or the ability to use her keys which means Lucy can't do anything at all
  • Can't one-shot even with the Dragon Gods cuz of Roy
  • Still not dating Natsu
    • Mashima Rebecca and Shiki got introduced as characters after Natsu and Lucy, ended up getting married, had a kid and their manga ended before Natsu and Lucy became a couple tf is wrong with you

Alear

Advantages:
  • Stonger in almost every situation aside from one
  • Her arsenal is fucking insane
  • Her time crystal lets her get do-overs for free whenever the fuck she wants
  • Even if Lucy had the speed advantage, Divine Pulse could trigger to land a succesful hit
  • Even if Lucy got the power advantage, Hold Out makes her impossible to one-shot
  • Silence staves completely shut down Lucy even if she got the speed and power advantage as Divine Pulse would have a chance to trigger any time she used it.
  • Can romance best girl Merrin
Disadvantages:
  • If Lucy gets off Dragon Soul, Alear becomes league weaker
  • Can only use one Emblem at a time, meaning she could potentially be overwhelmed
  • After Engaging, Alear can no longer use that Emblem for as long as they're Engaged, but the stat boosts help mitigate that.
  • Selene and Mercphobia could easily wipe Alear off the map
  • Slower if Lucy gets off her Water-Moon form.
  • Can't romance best boys Alcryst and Rosado.

As you can see this matchup is incredibly complex. Both Lucy and Alear definitely have their own ways to win this fight but I personally believe due to her arsenal, abilities and help from the Emblems; Alear would be able to close the gate on Lucy's chances of winning. The winner is the Divine Dragon Monarch Alear.
